Ingredients: 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil/vegetable oil/canola oil 2 cups white long grain rice 1/2 yellow onion cut into quarters 4 cups water 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon (caldo de pollo) etc.

Step number one. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium/high heat.
