Cuban Rice And Beans


Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups rice, uncooked
1 15 oz can black beans, drained
3 cups vegetable broth
2 Tbs red wine vinegar
4 cloves garlic, minced
And so on.

Instructions:
  • Step one. Heat a bit of oil or vegetable broth for oil-free cooking in a large saucepan. Add garlic and the optional onions and bell pepper. Fry all for around 3 minutes. Then add vegetable broth and rice. Cook for around 10 minutes.
  • Step two, Last, add the black beans, vinegar, and cumin. Season with salt and pepper plus the optional add ons, such as laurel spice or maple syrup.
  • Step 3, Cook for around 5 minutes more, check if the rice is done. Divide onto plates or bowls and serve with the optional cilantro.
